Aaargghhh, aaargghhh, and thrice aaargghhh!
Completed season one... went off to watch other stuff for a week or so, decided to come back to this just now, it came up with Swedish subtitles.
Went to switch to English subtitles; not an option.

Is that Netflix? sometimes they are quite slow with different subs. I was watching a Spanish series, and, although the latest series was out, Netflix warned that English Subs wouldn't be available for 3 or 4 months, and yes, got a message to say the English subs were now available.
My BIL uses the same ISP, and has some additional packages that may offer something, I'll have a word with him.

But it's even better than I thought. So far it's come in really handy for where my 'go to' sites have been missing an episode or two or in one case a whole season
Yesterday I discovered that key words are clickable and there's a dropdown menu too. By clicking on Norway, Danish, Finland etc I just found NINE more TV shows that sound really promising (in addition to those that don't
) and about half of them have several seasons.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bang_(TV_series) dialogue in english and welsh (with subtitles) and a form of scando-noir. It's quite funny to figure out words that have never made it into welsh so they use the english word like 'please'

Binged "The Outsider" (HBO via Crave TV) yesterday and today. Really enjoyed it. Based on the Stephen King novel of the same name.
