so what food do you really like or hate......

Here's mine =

Hate
1.Dates. those horrible nasty little things that come out at Christmas and look like dog ticks. They should never have been invented.

2. Fish with its head still on. I don't like it when its looking at me, even if its dead. (Closet Veggie)

3. Carpaccio. Yuuuukkkkkkkk cant stand anything that's too rare. My OH love's it the rarer the better. Last weekend he had lamb that was so rare it looked like it was going to leap off the plate.

4. Bacon. All the veins yuuuuukkkk.

Love
1.Creme Brule. mmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

2. Garlic and lots of it.

3. Spicy food. The spicier the better.

4. Dolcelatte.

actually I like a lot of foods so the list could be a lot longer.
Absolutely 100% at the top of my hate list is PEARS,uurgggh, nasty, nasty vomit inducing food.Even worse is when you get them diced up in that vile 1970's dessert, tinned fruit cocktail.
Also can't abide mustard or gherkins(dill pickles)or fresh raw tomatoes which is unfortunate as they're shoved into everything here(well almost everything)

There are a couple of things I haven't been brave enough to try since being in Canada:
Poutine
Clamato Juice, what is that all about??????? I'm presuming it really is squeezed tomatoes and clams???

Could however make Cinnezeo rolls my staple diet, yummy

If you like curry sauce and chips try the Poutine you'll like it.
Try the Clamato Juice with a pint of Canadian also nice.

I dont think the Clamato juice tastes of clams.

Yup. Clamato is tomato juice, clam bits, lime, Worcestershire sauce and other stuff. Frankly I find their adverts disgusting as they contain the words "Mott", "Clam" and "rimmer". Pure filth.

Don't knock yourself out about poutine. It's crap really.

Hey Jaycee - I remember; not sure anyone else has though (Steve quit nagging me already anyway, so shhhh ) I found a brilliant online diet journal you can use to track your progress. I'm finding it very helpful. Loads of useful info and calculators too.

Hmmmm - I can just imagine that with strawberry jam and a dollop of fresh cream on top But imagining is all I'll be doing for a while.
