wild salmon/steelhead/halibut
blueberries
veggies
sweet potatos
fresh salsas/pico de gallos
good olive oil
various gins/sakes/beers
sushi
popcorn - with butter, garlic, balsamic vinegar and tamari sauce all cooked up and drizzled over and sprinkled with engivitas yeast
stuffed vine leaves
humous
my brother-in-law's pets de soeurs
'ethnic' foods of all sorts
spicey/hot food
vanilla girl guide cookies
cold pizza


Dislikes
junk/processed food (a couple of exceptions)
offal
milk/cream/ice cream... eugh!
microwaved food
pop
over ripe fruit
chocolate with mint
corked wine

I'm with you there. My experience of that stuff is that I put it in the machine, press the buttons, wait, take it out, find it cold and put it back in. After severals iterations I eat it half cold. For that amount of bother I could light a fire and heat the can.

They sound like the Superstore perogies. The ones made by the old Ukrainian ladies in the basements of churches are fantastic, as long as they are fried. Better still are the authentic cabbage roll, although they seem harder to get hold of.
