Oh, there you are! I just want to tell you that your Heinlein trivia answer yesterday was correct. Well done and thanks. The French Nation is grateful.

Just my opinion but I play in an British/Canadian Hockey league where we play both National Anthems and despite being British I get more pumped up by the Canadian one.

Re: Flying the flag?
We have a Croatian flag outside ours...we live in a triplex and the owners are Croatian and it appeared after Croatia lost:confused:
It's funny our little boy has an Argentinian football kit but not an England one, might be something to do with the price of the shirt and shorts, under $15. |

Well, I am almost embarrassed to admit we are flying the Canadian, BC, US & German flags.
OH wants to add the cross of St. George too. There's also flags saying 'Open' & 'Welcome' but please can we be forgiven its a campground after all |
Re: Flying the flag?
We have a huge Maple Leaf flag that was given to an ex neighbor (an RCMP Officer) by Sheila Copps and then given to us on the day we became Canadian citizens. We'll fly it on Tuesday.
As for more important things, the beer and my power tools are, of course, kept in the basement beside the comfy chair in front of the wide screen TV. How on earth is man meant to relax otherwise? Naturally, the beer is stored in a small fridge with the Canuck's logo on the door. |
Re: Flying the flag?
We have a Welsh Dragon number plate on the front of our van which we bought in Walmart if that counts. They must have bought a job lot because I've seen a few vehicles around Regina with them on recently.
Our neighbour flies a Canadian flag. In Regina someone has painted their fence half Sask and half Canadian flag which can be seen clearly from the ring road. |
