It's horrible. Totally up itself and full of Hooray Henrys. Also staggeringly expensive. Only the Beer Bistro is worse.

The pictures do give off that impression.
I was joking about 'adapting', I refuse to be dragged up-market. I want an ice cold cider, in a gloomy hovel, with dubious strangers to chat with. Damnit.

Yard. Two doors down from the UpItself. A proper pub, the same people are sitting and/or playing darts there as when I first went in (not sure when that was but I was first banned in 1982).

On Vancouver Island there is Merridale Estate Cidery but their products are available only on Vancouver Island and in the Vancouver area.

If you want a choice in ciders it would appear B.C. is the place to go to.
Only been in BC for 4 weeks and as I drank beer never paid attention do they do Cider on tap out there much or is it like Ontario Liquor store only?

Can't believe I'm the only one who's voted for Muskoka (even though it's cunningly been placed twice in the poll)!

A buck a bottle plus deposit AND it's "craft brewed" unlike all the others in the list. ("Real" additive free beer for those outside Canada).

Plus it tastes pretty darned good.

Don't frequent drinking establishments very often so can't really say.

I have had Strongbow on tap in Calgary and just recently had the Big Rock, Rock Creek cider on tap also.

Although most places seem to have Strongbow in bottles for some ridiculous price.

While out walking last night saw some lads drinking LUCKY beer, here on Vancouver Island.

Its the only way to drink it! If you drink it by the bottle sensibly then you taste the stuff!
