These are made of old pop cans, scrap wood, paper, card & 2nd hand string...
They're about 18" tall...
I think they're very good indeed. But assuming that the one on the left with an "N" is Napoleon, how did the other one get his hat?

They're meant to be reasonably "generic", rather than anything specific really..

More spur of the moment than considered.. Or as the wife puts it.... weird..

If she wasnt she will be soon enough!

Congrats to AX, good luck with everything. We learned the hard way never to take anything for granted, especially in the first trimester

Still, if there is any upside to that sort of thing it saved me from a minivan...

I create myself bagels every day to take to work for lunch. I typically put some margarine on, some montreal smoked ham and then tomato.

After realising I was dumping $75-80 a week on Lunch I am now down to just $40(I still eat out one day a week).

This has further helped me create wealth for myself that I then share with my bar servers.

A cycle of creation........but I accept I am no Joe_Sleepy- impressive work up there.

I make soap and other bath & body goodies although I'm closing my online shop because I'm moving back to the UK (if the kid's passport ever arrives).

I also love to knit but am crap at crocheting.

My latest thing is learning photography (very slow learner here).

given that the photography thread seems to have taken a bit of a right-angled turn, I thought I'd resurrect this one for non-photographic creativity. Having said that, this isn't my own work: I'm nought but a pattern-cutting consultant and junior assistant to my OH in her cake-making exploits. This is one she made yesterday for a friend's baby shower...

Looks too good to give away......

Not creative as such, but I did harvest some home grown spuds.

Ha! it seems like I missed this thread back in the summer.
I sing a bit ... I was going to inflict you with a redcording of my quartet, but I can't seem to make it work, so you're spared!

Talking of creativity, we had the most amazing time last weekend at a Improv singing workshop. It was fascinating, moving, fun, and just a fantastic experience - never done anything like it before! http://www.haven.ca/programs/the-sin...-cappella.html

Nothing was recorded of course, so I can't share, but I find myself finding music and harmonies in just about everything this week!

I've taken to doing some 'primitive' style painting, it started off with some tissue boxes, now it's progressing to other things, seeing as the tissue box supply has dried up. OH thinks I should have a stall at the farmers market next year...
