I take it you disagree, do you see Jeremy Corbyn as being a swashbuckling man of action?
Personally I think he has to be the biggest imbecile to ever "grace" British politics, he lives in a complete fantasy world. |

Indeed, the traditional world of Sociaism....;)
Socialism is a little too mild for that man, he is a communist in every sense of the word. |

I used to be quite anti-JC, but actually he has demonstrated high integrity in his politics, and certainly seeks to improve the lot of the less fortunate in society. Many people in Britain quite like the idea of re-nationalising the rail companies. I wouldn't say he's an imbecile, and certainly not the biggest imbecile (that honour would go to BoJo or Dianne Abbott).

Maybe imbecile is too strong a word, (Im not having a good day to day) I think in his own world he means well, but its a fantasy world.

As I said to Shard, I don't think hes a bad man, I think he actually means well in his own mind, its just his ideals are just not realistic. Communism is a good idea in theory, but human nature will never allow it to work. |

Perhaps a bit self-inflicted? I'm still waiting to hear how JC is better described as a communist rather than as a socialist?
I think in these civilised times I welcome mild socialism....Im for the NHS, subsidised housing and other benefits (as long as they are not abused) which they quite often are., but Corbyn is an extreme socialist. |

[QUOTE=Novocastrian;12401634]Christ in heaven! You think that defines communism? I think it's not his best idea ever, but only suggests that he recognizes the equality in theory of the four UK nation states.
Look. You accused him of being a communist "in every sense of the word". He's not, in any sense of the word. Stop digging.[/QUOTE I believe in equality of all the 4 nation states, but why make them holidays? it just a pointless waste of money. Talking of which...the minimum wage he pledged to raise....to £10 an hour...thats even worse than Wynne's $15 an hour!! Its ridiculous! Thats pretty communist! Id like to clarify that I call extreme socialism the modern communism, I suppose its my way of being a little sarcastic. |

Some might argue, that extreme Sociaism is in fact Communism, be it a modern version or otherwise. You can thank me for sorting out your inability to use quotes at your leisure. |

Re: The country we left behind
How the hell does that make him a communist in ANY sense of the word. I know I didn't go to University, only made it through Grammar school, but that definitely did not come up when we were studying political systems.
