yes, thank you BEVS and MrcBevs, that is the issue, we fixed it before by unplugging and turning the taps off for 24 hrs and then turning it all back on, that fix didn't last as long as it did last time, let's hope it see us through the next little bit. I'm more distressed about the oven. But OH will get me a new element, im sure it's the second one of those we are on too.

Everyone who thinks social distancing is a joke should watch the first 40 secs of this video.

Very well explained....from what I have heard and seen in the UK....people are blatantly ignoring social distancing.... panic buying and queuing in grocery stores. My cousin and her husband walked into an Asda and walked straight out out again at the weekend....too many people just not listiening to government instructions making a mockery of social distancing. The UK will be the next Italy if that behaviour continues.

The city bus service here has reduced the timetable, essentially not running for the evenings and no sitting in the seat immediately behind the driver.

As of today there's a limit of 9 passengers on the bus.

I wonder how many people who don't have a flu jab because they "don't get flu" would now take a shot against this virus if it was available. :sneaky:

They couldn't do a 9 limit here but they are not letting people use the front door (unless needing the ramp to board.) and they are waiving bus fare since no way to collect payment from the back door. (sky train fares are not being waived, just bus fares)

He is having a chat with Premiers this evening allegedly. I suspect legislation will be enacted similar to what has been implemented in Nova Scotia, in the next few days.
I do feel that although the Feds seem to be doing a reasonable job dealing with the Pandemic thay have to often been "Reactive ' rather than "Proactive" imo....if people haven't 'got it' by now they never will...without a 'wallet hitting' incentive! Again, overdue imo.

In reality number of cases in BC is much higher than this. I know someone who was coughing up blood, and they just told them to go home and self-isolate. No test given. Thankfully I hadn't seen them in person for a while.

Yes I am sure it is, as they only seem to be testing the most serious of cases/meeting specific criteria.

But they are the only numbers we have to go by.

But with 21,296 tests done as of last Friday, we are doing better than Washington state was at 21,296 so I guess that is a plus.

Washington is up to 30,875 as of today with 1,996 positive. Unfortunately BC only updates the testing numbers once per week on Friday where WA seems to do it daily.
