That sounds good guys. Looking forward to hearing some familiar accents!

I'm also planning to make it, with daughter in tow this time - see you all soon!

Pretty much confirmed I'll be coming. Just look out for the tall'ish chap, answering to the name of Mark

Well we're still hoping to come. We're moving house and we have to be out of the current rental by Saturday midnight... We have moved most of our stuff to the other house and are planning on another trip tomorrow which should then leave us with literally mattresses and xboxes!! If we do indeed get to that stage then our 2 x 0.5 will be there!! We'll probably need a stiff drink!!!

How do us newbies recognise you lot? I assume everyone in the 'Yard will have an English accent and be roaring drunk.

The Library isn't very big. When you walk in, it's to the left of the bar in it's own sort of half-separated room. We'll generally be keeping an eye out for anyone who looks lost.
But really, if you ask them to show you to the library, there's only two tables in there, so your chances of working out who we are are pretty good.

I'd encourage any scared newbies to try - I did & had a lovely time
. If really panicked/lost, a post/PM here will usually sort you out - there are some Very Nice Participants who keep a look out
I had hoped to be a very last minute, unannounced, addition to this shindig but life, weather & work have interfered
. Hope you all have an excellent evening, & I'll see you in Spring!

I met some absolutely wonderful people through the Lonely Planet travel website, before the BBC moderated it to death.
After all, it's a public bar... what could possibly go wrong

I've often found in these circumstances that the best way to immediately get the attention of the group is to arrive unclothed, but perhaps a hat could be permitted since it's winter.
