Christmas Cake & other goodies

Re: Christmas Cake & other goodies
I was dragged off to a Christmas party by HID last year and it was one the most dull affairs I've ever been too. Horrible dull people eating horribly dull food, no dancing to rubbish Christmas songs. So I spent the evening stood by a couple of the best bottles of claret I could find growling at anyone who came even close to them. After which I believe I rearranged the host's 30+ disturbing looking nutcrackers (who I mistook for Diddy Men) into comprising positions at which point HID decided it might be better that we left. I did manage a partial snog with the host as we were leaving.

Day 2 of a 3 day fluid only diet and I have to read this thread - you know that good cat food looks a lot like pate?

I buy all my homemade jam, preserves and pickles from Farmers Markets. I would rather pay a little more for fresh products. Tastes so much better. I should make my own. They are pretty easy to make.
