Good grief. The absolute worst from that list must be 'Sex Fruit'. You really can't do anything with that!

What are 'typical' Canadian names, out of interest?

Well would you look at that not a Chad, Brad or Thad to be found in the top 50.

You're right, Chads, Brads and Thads are all middle-aged now. Now, Canadian babies are called Cayden, Brayden or Jayden

A lot of kids in my kids' classes have first names that we know as surnames. For ex; Kennedy, Kendall, Tyler, Harrison, Cameron, McKenzie, Brackell....etc.

Some of them are quite ugly (the names - not the kids) especially on little girls.

Also, there are a lot of names where you can't tell if it's a boy or girl, not to mention these poor kids have got a lifetime of having to spell out and correct other peoples spelling of their names.

Midnight Chardonnay

I probably wouldn't have put two and two together on that one if it hadn't been with the rest of the list. Those are all pretty awful.

I do remember being very embarrassed about my rather Victorian middle name for most of my school years but in reality it is a very standard name (and possibly now even fashionable?)

When we had our youngest husband wanted a name that was not common but not to unusual

He liked Estelle but i thought it was to old fashioned and stiffy!!! he ended up naming her Martine (this was before martine mccutchen was on 'enders by the way ) I liked Naomi. so Naomi and Estelle are her middle names.

SHe now says she wishes we had called her Estelle as she really likes that name........teenagers, you gotta love 'em

Kai is my little boys name that I chose.

There is only one other boy's name I like and that is Dante.

For girls I really like Darcy and Adelaide.

Husband hates all of them and if we have a girl he wants to call her Keira.
