When a person dies, their age at the time of death is reported by the BBC. This number is subtracted from 100 (Imperial) yielding a number of points. If the dead person was nominated as a joker then the number of points is doubled. So, if Vera Lynn croaks tomorrow and she's 95 then 100 minus 95 is 5. 5 times 2 is 10. So, Vera Lynn as a joker is worth 10. No fractions are allowed. Points for all nominees who have died are added together forming a total for the player. Unborn children and centenarians count zero.
