I'm still thinking about my replacement player. Don't want anyone too old, the points aren't worth it, but there has to be a reasonable chance of them popping their clogs without stooping to the goal-hanging antics of dbd

Oh I don't know about mean - seems somehow appropriate, given the amount of vitriol spilt on the demise of Thatcher, that you replace her with somebody most famous for singing "I'm in the mood for dancing."

Hmmm. Tossing up the virtues of assorted Middle Eastern and North African leaders. Morsi, Assad, Ahmadinejad, Jalal Talabani, Hamid Karzai, Mohamed Magarief, Abdelaziz Boutelfika, Omar al-Bashir... or there's always the (hopefully not literally) nuclear option of Kim Jong-Un.

Right then, decision time... I'm going to go for Hamid Karzai. I mean, that nice Mr Harper's just reversed his own Defence minister's decision to reduce the danger pay of Canadian service personnel in Afghanistan. Perhaps he knows something we don't?
