High on the 27th was -30C the overnight low was -33.8C and the high on the 28th was -28.1C

Neat website. Still, I think it felt colder, was driving around on square tires for ages.

I spent my lunch hour in Canadian Tire today looking for the correct extension lead for my blockheater. There was a big gaggle of people panic buying the blockheater leads asking if they had picked up the right one - imagine - me, a newcomer to Calgary from warmer climes advising the locals on which lead they needed!

Perhaps I should have put this on the other thread that mentions (whispers) blockheaters
