I've been to the mars ice-cream factory near Strasbourg. In the offices they had a graph of all the countries that ate what they called 'sticks' (you know, dove bars, magnums or what have you). The quantity of these things consumed by brits was twice as many as the rest of europe put together. They did have a cabinet full of free ones you could take so I ate quite a few while I was there.

I do like the Cadbury's Mr Big bars they sell here, bit like a Lion bar but easier to eat.
