My point entirely. It seems that a certain percentage of the population regards them as some sort of wonder food that alone will reduce weight without all the bother of actually working out. In a similar vein, The Goodlife gym I drag myself to once or twice a week has a booster juice smoothy place attached to it. The inference being that after your workout you grab a refreshing and healthy smoothy with all that fruit and powershot thingamummy in it. I've not checked the nutitional info, but rather suspect that they are not as healthy as all that!

Arnold Schwarzan-oink-er? Oink as a bodybuilder is certainly not how you come across on this 'ere forum!;)

Certainly not trying to "bulk up" rather simply trying to slow down the inevitable degradation brought on by time.

Not sure about the health option with the Booster Juice but i find them a good breakfast bet when a particularly bad Screech or Lambs hangover is kicking in :)

Hangover breakfasts could be a thread by itself. A fried egg and bacon sandwich usually does the trick for me. Booster Juice would be too much acid for my constitution when hungover.

This morning it‘s a big bacon sandwich with ketchup and Frank‘s Red Hot. You bulk up how you want, and so shall I.

I take it to help recovery and the one i have also has a mixture of fast and slow digesting proteins which works well for what i want.

You're right though. Many people think of it as a magic potion and defitnitely don't use it as effectively as they should.

I'm off to Oinks to pump iron after i have my shake, a banana, and a coffee http://www.pixel-shooter.com/forum/i...racter0115.gif

Thks. I'm in the mere mortal category, one who is trying to eat a bit healthier and lose a few pounds. Snacking and a sweet tooth is my downfall. That and the booze.;)

This morning I broke my fast with a scrambled egg on a slice of toast. (Just one of each). Then a yogurt after some time on the exercise bike at the gym.
