Not a fan of smoked salmon- and cream cheese is a workplace staple.

Close, I'm on Crestor which is a rosuvastatin vs Lipitor which is an atorvastatin. The rum probably cuts as much plaque as the pills anyway.

Rummaging through the freezing compartment I found the last package of steak from the Giant Tiger sale, so steak and eggs it was.

Eggs in Purgatory, slice of Sourdough toast and a little grated nacho cheese.

Re: Breakfast Choices
I had sausage and eggs on toast with refried black beans, melted cheese and salsa.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Two slices of Bacon Spam (I don't recall seeing that here before) fried, with egg and toast.
Delicious while watching the storm out the window. |
Re: Breakfast Choices
Pretty much an omelette stuffed with nearly everything. Sort of like an egg pizza.

Re: Breakfast Choices
A banana as I ran out the door! (not enough) :(

Trying the 95% vegan - but still need milk in tea (almond / rice / sou just doesnt cut it!) A lot of the vegan protein shakes make me very windy and I mean VERY , as in I end up looking pregnant ! |

Re: Breakfast Choices
daily usual
Cereal something (today it was porridge) + one round of Toast, some fruit if we have any, along with a glass of water + a cuppa tea Alternate days it would be toast only and/or the porridge or corn flakes Rarely have the 'breakfast' type fry up, that would usually be saved for dinner |
Re: Breakfast Choices
Brie on crispbread, coffee.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
1 slice regular bacon just for the fat, and 2 thick slices of pea-meal bacon, 2 eggs on toast.

Empanadas with salsa, and a beer. I went in early so already have half a day's work done and deserve it, especially on this, the holiest of working days.

Having that for breakfast, unless that was lunch in another time zone? |

Re: Breakfast Choices
Walmart sells some nice pizza bun thingies. Not really pizza but a round soft bread base with a bit of pizza sauce and a thin layer of cheese on. 6 for $5 my mother in law says.
30 seconds on defrost in the microwave and topped with a fried egg makes a delicious breakfast. |

Re: Breakfast Choices
Those bags of coleslaw salad mix are good sautéed and served with a poached egg or two on top. Not a hole bag though that would be way too much.

Forgot to mention on the earlier comment, if you do have a little more than you usually do - say a full English (or even kippers ) - then you make up for it with a salad for lunch. |
Re: Breakfast Choices
Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs yesterday.
Slice of toast and Marmalade today plus a banana/berry/yogurt smoothie. |
Re: Breakfast Choices
Big handful of kale, spinach and Swiss chard, half an apple, a carrot, two strawberries, some goji berries and a glug of flax seed oil. Zipped up as a smoothie.

Re: Breakfast Choices
I made steak and eggs with bacon and fried mushrooms, and when I looked for the HP, (way in the back because of height) it was right behind a bottle of beer I didn't know I had. I took it as a sign.
