... Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty. It seems that all you need to be these days is foreign, religious and in the wrong place at the wrong time, especially based on the suspicious characters identified via crowd sourcing.
Whatever the truth is, this manhunt has been way more successful at causing widespread disruption to the US than the attack was. It seems pretty clear that suspect B is already miles away (especially given the ever widening police cordon).
While loss of life is tragic, this is hardly a poster day for democracy and justice.

To be honest I am quite surprised on how careful the US is this time with accusations and the mentioning of religion and foreign heritage. They much more continuously report on how American at least the younger one is, that he got US citizenship, that he was little when they fled Chechnya. First they were searched for as witnesses, then possibly connected and then called suspects and only after the robbery of the 7-11 and the shooting of the campus officer, and the other things Siouxie already mentioned i.e. throwing grenades/explosives out of a stolen car, they classed them as "the ones that definitely did it".
Also we don't even know yet what other video footage the FBI had of the bombing. Apparently on one you could see the younger brother's reaction after the bomb went off and see him walking away. Also if they were innocent then why all the shooting and robbery yesterday? They could have just turned themselves in and said search everything we have, it wasn't us. So all the little bits combined they don't seem to be very innocent!

When Wolf Blizter asks one of their friends to say something insipid to the lad they're looking for, I just wish one of them would have the balls to break into a rendition of the Spencer Davis Group's Keep on Running.

The "talk to the suspect bit" seems to be standard police practice if American crime dramas are anything to go by. Given the potential danger to the public it's worth a try, insipid or not.

Have you even watched the news?

Where would you have him shoot? Middle of the hull? Toward the bow, or stern? They think he's wounded, maybe from last night. (The brick apt building was raided this morning because someone noticed a blood smear in the stairwell). There's possibly 2 tanks of boat gas in there with him under that tarp + whatever goodies he has on him... It's iffy they'll get him alive and without that they get no questions answered. If he passes out from loss of blood they'll just wrap him up, otherwise if he doesn't want to be taken he'll likely just blow himself up and we'll get it on video. It's like I went and worked an 8 hr day, went out for 2 beers after, and didn't even miss much!

Sub machine gun into the hull from the house across the street should Finnish it.

Looks like it's over, dunno if he's alive or not. Ok, he's alive and a medic is on the way. Yayyyy! Think I might do up some shrimp and dip for supper.
