The fact you are confused makes me shake my head. The comments you posted this response to are bang-on....No pun etc...Opinion's within reason are like arseholes...its a free country.

You obviously missed the sarcastic humour in my reply to the others.

Sort of surprising really seeing as us "Brits" are always banging on about how Canadians don't get our sense of humour.

Did it go on to say that the gun accidently went of and shot Mr. Collier multiple times as it spinned outa control on the ground at the MIT campus

Quote:
Collier crossed paths with the two suspects, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, at approximately 10:20 p.m. Thursday night, authorities said — roughly five hours after the FBI released surveillance photos of the two men they say planted twin bombs near the finish line of Monday's Boston Marathon, killing three people and wounding 176.

The suspects shot Collier on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Mass., following an altercation

There's been lots of attempts at neutralizing them, but obviously it isn't working. Some would say that it's an impossible task because as soon as you find one, there are many more willing to take their place. Personally I think that's just an excuse, and the real problem is that people in the military are incompetent and don't know what they are doing.

Yes, we don't need people with opinions that are not within reason. We need some way of finding out who these people with unreasonable opinions are so we can neutralize them.

I suppose that americans will now have to treat unattended bags with suspicion and will have reporting them drummed into their heads all the time like we did in the 70s/80s. I wonder if they will get rid of the bins everywhere too.

The irony is that people in boston probably funded quite a few ira bombing campaigns in the UK.

I thought that but wasn't brave enough to write it. The lockdown thing too, what happened to keep calm and carry on?

Just heading back from DT Vancouver Sun Run - approx 50k entrants ... Maybe as its in Canada .. But security was at its usual seemingly non existent level.

There was a moving tribute to Boston and they played the Last Post.
