They should have wrapped him in bacon and used his body for a public urinal in a gay Jewish nightclub frequented by the IDF...

Instead of killing the f**ker, they should have made him do airport security 20 times a day for the next 20 years. He's made my life a misery! I'd put him in 20 hole boots, a belt, give him a lap-top hidden in a bag with lots of other stuff, coins, keys and other metal objects (not a gun or knife, though - you know how they re-offend ...) and march him back forth through the bleepy machine until he went clinically insane. That would teach him a lesson. B**tard.

Except this way he becomes a martyr for his followers and gets his 72 virgins
Hopefully they all look like Susan Boyle

The world is well rid of him.
And lets not forget no doubt there would have been numerous threats by various groups of his supporters to blow up buses of small children and other innocents until he was released. His immediate death was the only logical course, however fair or unfair, that may have been.

He would have been a martyr if he died naturally. Al-Quacko would just say he gave his life expenditures to the rid the world of the evil powers of the world.

BTW that is precedent. I also note that you don't say that the trials that have been held in the US for Islamic Terrorists/Murders had set a precedent. Guess that was just a quirk of the judical system.

In this situation a hell of a lot better.

This and the recent Libyan events don't sit comfortably with me.
Lucky you are living in the land of the meek, mild and unoffendable

PS I can say that because I am married to a Canuck who agrees

PPS I do agree with you, however. The recent events in the Middle East are very troubling. Makes you want to find that cave that Laden should have been in and roll the stone in front of it until the smoke clears.

They would have killed innocent people from every nation under the sun, if they thought it might secure his freedom, right up until the point where he was executed. Dont be so naive.

You're the one being naive. Never asking why - just accepting what the state says.

Its not naivety its called the rule of law and due process with in it. As with any unlawful act a state must, no matter what is alleged, guarantee such due process. Innocent until proven, I believe is the term. Otherwise the state is acting in an unlawful way. Obama should be prosecuted for ordering the murder of bin Laden, however distasteful people found him.
