-11c here and probably about 80-90cms of snow on the ground with another 25cm forecast for tonight. I love it

I love the clear blue skies that follow here, rather than those miserable grey skies from Nov-March in the UK.

No snow in Nanaimo, but the mountains on the mainland are looking alot whiter. Weve had afew on off snow showers over the last couple of wks but it doesn't stick around for long. i'll PM you tomo

Snow, snow everywhere and not a single flake to drink (something like that).

Well we are into our fourth winter storm warning in a week (according to the weather man, I lost count after 2 ). I woke this morning to snow on the windows and after shovelling about 25-30cms yesterday from the new years eve storm I can see deeper snow than I previously shovelled

So work from home today (thanks to the internet) and shovelling time is here again. I will be updating the blog today, perhaps with some video (if I can).

Thats what I love about Canada - Shovelling Snow is good for your soul and by the end of this winter I will be all set for entering heaven with a clean slate

Hi there, its minus 15 outside now. We had a dump of snow yestesday, about 18-20cm. Thursday night its supposed to be minsu 26, with a high of minus 12

New sheets and blankets still very very cosy

Oh yes we are in Peterborough.

I see you are in 'cambs'...I have relatives in Fen Drayton and Bluntisham and their descriptions of how cold it is in the winter are hilarious. They get worried when it is below about -3 c.
