When I came home from work Saturday the stations I pass were in the 1.27 range, Sunday early morning when going to work, most stations had jumped 20-21 cents.

Did not pay attention much on my way home, but the one Petro I remember seeing was 1.46.

I bought a used Chevy Tahoe over Christmas, it has a 5.3 V8 and costs me $120 to fill up when gas is at 1.30 per litre. Thank Gord I don't live in Vancouver

Anywhere from $1.62 to $1.68 around my area in Vancouver.

Using gas buddy, seems Surrey and Langley are all over the place as low as $1.41 and as high as $1.69.

Time to find a scooter again...lol

Victoria's anywhere from 1.53-1.65. Luckily a few days ago when I filled up my Dakota at the bottom end of that, I didn't give into the voice saying "Just get a bit, it's jumped up, it's gotta come down from this"

The price has been going up like crazy lately, but still not bad compared to other countries. If you drive a relatively fuel efficient vehicle it's not too bad of a hit.

The stations in my area are all $1.69.9 today.

Looking at gas buddy I see a couple lower stations in Vancouver at $1.63 and a few at $1.59.

At $1.70/liter even a sub compact like a Mazda 2 becomes pricey to fill.

We were in Van last weekend and were surprised at the variation in prices within a short distance. In Calgary, I'd be surprised to see more than 2c to 3c difference.

Saw a station today at $1.71

It's insane. Surprised how many seem to actually believe its because of the carbon tax. We have had the carbon tax since 2008, and while it did go up on April 1st, it only added 1 cent per liter, prices jumped a good 20 cents in most areas around Vancouver.

It 94 grade at Chevron, but first time I have seen any grade of gas hit $2 per liter mark.

Not my photo.

I’m in SummerlNd right now and it’s only 1.35 a litre. How can it be 1.70 in Van if not for price gouging.

Because history repeats itself; it's the circle of life, like in The Lion King.... I tried to search for reasons and this was up top: Don't bother telling me it's old, I know.
