The seal around the sump pump as it goes out through the outer wall! But there is also a problem with the staircase to the basement, which is what the building inspector has a problem with. :blink:

The builder has been back in again today. Inspector coming back Monday. At the moment we have no water - fingers crossed it stays that way. :o

We are in the process of finishing it, which we cant do with water in ther! :curse: I have my mum coming 3rd March, with nowhere to sleep at the moment! :ohmy: I will need a stiff drink then!!!!!! :eek:

Yeap the work is being done under warranty, no problem with the builder really; just our tight timescale. :thumbsup:

Sorry already half way there; sold the car and some furniture to nice expats, coming from Jersey! :whatchutalkingabout One family in, us out, alas, so I admit defeat, so I'll have a few big drinks with you now, before we leave this big white country. :cry_smile:

So far I have had a Strawberry Vodka Absolute, Rose wine and I'm just considering a nice big vodka coke, now we are back "home" (I use the term loosely, as it is unreal!) :sad_smile:

Can i have a large Jack Daniels & ginger not too much ice.

Our family of 5 has been wiped out with an awful S & D bug this week and i'm sick of changing bedding, nappies and generally clearing up sick.:thumbdown:

Last dinner today, with OH relatives, more red wind, I think.

He is now worrying about getting a job back in the UK; lossing face; and the cost of renting. But, hey, when I get him home, we are off to see the doctor!!!!!!!!!
