While we are on the topic of missing persons.

Has anyone seen or heard from Butch in the last seven days. His last post here was I think last Friday.

Not a word since.

Edit: I stand corrected I just did a search and Butch last posted on the 17th, however nothing since then and no response to PM's

No I havent heard from him at all. Perhaps he's away. Maybe with hwp comes on she can enlighten us as to his whereabouts.

HWP says she hasn't heard from him either.

Well that's a little odd, but maybe they just decided to go away for a few days. I hope he's ok....!

Hey BC, whats up mate? No one has heard from you in a while and we are all missing you.

I'm still trying to find my feet back in the UK. I start back at my old job on 30 October - they offered it straight back to me, I was really chuffed. Everyone was pleased to see me when I went in. (well the staff - not sure about the students yet!)

Still sorting out accommodation, flitting between my kids at the mo. I have bought a car - collecting it on Wednesday, but internet access is still a bit tenuous.

I will be back here as often as I can - the vodka and remy stocks must be building up

Thanks. It was a huge move to make, but I have had a lot of support, not least from the wonderfully kind people on this forum. I'm a survivor and me and my dog are looking to the future now.

Thanks Stu-pot. How's things going? Are you still doing night shift next week? I am going to be making the most of my last freetime before I start work again. Shopping mostly. I have just realised all of the things that I am going to have to buy!!! Everything from teaspoons to washing machine etc. :scared:

Things are ok - slowly getting sorted. I really hadn't realised just how much there is to do, buy and sort out.

Without internet access I am missing my friends in Canada - also the time difference makes it kinda strange.

I can't wait to get myself all sorted out and be back online here properly.

Hows things with you? Hows the dog and the family?

Going to take some time hon to get settled. You have to give yourself permission to take as much time as you need - its been a huge upheavel for you. We miss you too, but dont worry about the time too much. Im still around at strange hours.

Reilly is fine, spoiled as ever. Jim and the kids are doing well. Going to skate and play hockey as we speak. Jim coaches a couple of little guys teams one of which jj is on.

What will you do for xmas this year?

Oh God, Sue. I haven't really thought about Xmas. Its gonna be terrible. I hope that I'll be spending it with people that I love, as long as we can get the logistics sorted out.

I will have to go out and buy all new decorations etc - another expense! :scared:

But if things work out the way that I hope then it will be worth it.
