Decadent is one word for it. I got chatting to a lady at the bar. I asked her if she'd stayed there before.

"I've never stayed here but I've been in quite a few of the rooms."

Oh.

The dress is 'rising' because I had the train wrapped around my arm so it wasn't blowing around whan the photographer was snapping away

Printer you will love Vegas! Take board shorts, flip flops, t shirts and maybe a short sleeved shirt and you are set - you can dress up or down because no-one cares at all.

Another weird thing was being able to wander into all the other Casinos and hotels with beer in hand and no-one bats an eyelid, also smoking inside i allowed too that felt unusual

I've never stayed at Caesar's but have at the Mandalay Bay, the Bellagio and the pyramid thing as well as some I've forgotten. I usually stay at the Venetian which is both decadent and ridiculously tacky. In my estimation the ghastly imitation canal in the basement is the second most stupid thing in America. It's surpassed only by The Portofino Bay Hotel, which is a concrete and plastic recreation of an Italian fishing village in a swamp in Florida.

Note that I've been to both Disney World and Disney Land and recently stayed in a WigWam motel. Still, the Venetian is more trashy.

Er, no. I'd thought she was the wife/partner of the bloke sitting next to her when I arrived. Turned out that he was just another potential client.

Quite frankly, I am disappointed. I would have expected a much more suave approach from someone such as yourself.

You're really going for the nuts today, aren't you?

It was the only remaining bar stool and I started a conversation with what I assumed to be one half of a couple. I got it ever-so-slightly wrong. I have no experience of hookers, so I guess I missed the signs.

I don't think I've ever been called suave. Nor have I ever (ish) chatted anyone up with carnal intent.
