Probably still up the chimney researching ways on obtaining an index linked pension, as the prisoner of a British Expat

Either that, or he's on line at Squirrelupachimneyforum.com asking for advice on how to get rid of Brits and their crazy dogs, so that he can come down and go to the loo.

I am undecided about giving you an update on the situation or letting this go on - I think I will leave it up to you guys to write the ending

It probably died up there and dropped like a squirrel shaped stone a day or so ago.

He'll be stealing wi-fi bandwidth then Make sure your wi-fi router is secure.

Note: Assuming to be a male, as I am sure the women around here would agree that a female squirrel wouldn't be so stupid as to head down a chimney

Excellent point. But all squirrels have nuts.

I would agree but based on personal observations of our local squirrels they all may have had nuts at one time or another but most it seems can't remember where they put them.

OK. You guys lit a fire. The squirrel emailed the fire department and police (using your unsecured wi-fi network) to complain of animal cruelty.
Your post above was the only one allowed from jail and you squandered it in this thread on BE instead of emailing your lawyer. The squirrel has now filed a lawsuit because of his seriously cooked nuts, and is looking for full compensation. The house and the chimney will belong to him soon. He'll stick his nuts wherever he wishes in future

A bit like my Border Collie.

Hmm, should I shove him up the chimney?

To paraphrase Jasper Carrot......"there's only one way to deal with a squirrel, that's blow it's bloody head off!"
