Steve's right. These shootings are just to distract the serfs from the really important things that are happening.

Isn't it obligatory amongst you prepper types to refer to to the general public as "sheeple"? No one's going to take you seriously unless you use the correct terminology.

Something like 13,000 people are murdered in the US every year - the only reason that was covered by national news was because of the shootings in Newtown. (And no-one was murdered).

Every time something happens the press overreact, like after the shoe bomber, every small incident involving airline security was overreacted to for a few weeks afterward.

After 9/11, it was like every time an unattended bag was found in a building, everyone was evacuated and massive press coverage. Or when that guy was sending out the anthrax letters or the Unabomber, everytime someone got something in the mail that was vaguely suspicious, it was a major news story that wasn't.

Or the thing with the accelerator pedal on Toyotas, every car accident with a Toyota was suddenly headline news. Some guy was even released from prison because he had run someone over - in a model of Toyota that part wasn't even used in.

That is a "sheeple" effect. Arrrrggghhh, panic.

Always remember that "tiger" that led to a massive police call out with loads of press coverage and it turned out to be a stuffed toy.

Good one Yoko

Over 1057000 killed by guns in US since John Lennon's death

Only another 250,000,000 to go then.
