He's certainly a good player but possibly not quite as good as he thinks he is. He also comes across as petty grumpy at the best of times - okay when he was a teenager but you'd expect him to have matured bit by now especialy when you compare his demenour to that of Federer or Nadal. Just a bit dull and gruff rather than a twat though.

Don't know if he's a twat or not, but what I can't stand is Scotch people who are really into being Scotch when it suits them but when they want to earn some decent money they suddenly start pandering to the British.

i agree with you, for once. What a load of drivel. My best friend is a Scot form the tenements of Glasgow. I am so proud of her to have raised herself from the povery in which she was raised to her present situation.

Best player to come out of the British isles in many a year and he's Scottish through and through. Only British to please his sponsors. When he f**ks up, he'll become Scottish again to the English media but until then, he's all they've got, so he's British

Being half Scottish myself I tend to see through the myth of Scots being described as British when they're doing well and Scottish when they're doing badly. However some Scots do appear to like to cling on to this myth.

There's no doubt he is a good player. However, one statistic I do remember from a few years ago is that no player had won their first grand slam tournament when over the age of 25. How old is he now 24?
