Default Andy Murray - Twat or not?

Do you think that he had previously spent too much time watching Braveheart but is a reformed character following a change of heart who now loves the English? Or perhaps he has realised that by alienating the English supporters, he was taking money out of his own pocket?

Is he a twat or not?

What has he done to alienate English people?

I think he has the personality of a broom handle, and try as hard as I like to support him, I can't warm to the fella at all. He is a good player and still has some more potential - but perhaps only for another short window of a year or two.

I think he will fade into a bad-tempered oblivion within 4 years.

Not a twat. Just a moderately decent tennis player who isn't particularly media savvy.

If you read his previous interviews I think that they your question answers itself. If you are going to make stupid comments about a nation of individuals and they are the hand that feeds, you might find yourself with a little less food.

I think the more appropiate question would be "What has he done to win their hearts and minds?"

Why does he have to win their hearts and minds? All he has to do is win and be top of the heap. The British public will think the sun shines out of his arse even if he's the most miserable SOB in the game. Being a nice, sweet guy will not put food on his table. There are many major tournaments around the world other than Wimbledon that he has won/can win/do well in. The British public is no longer the hand that feeds him.

I remember Tim Henman whose personality was godlike.

No Andy Murray is a twat. You are right. I was born in England but my Dad is Scottish and even my Dad thinks he's a twat. I would respect him more if he didn't do a U turn on his opinions. I hate 2 faced people!
