Check your TV listings - its on one of the PBS stations that you get - we get it on several different nights. Sometimes the old 2004 version, sometimes the new version.

PMSL - oh, I dont know yet. We were just in london in may for 8 days, so when we plan our trip for next year it will depend. We were in europe for 24 days in may/june - went to london, estonia, finland and russia. Had a great time, but had problems in russia, and y ou know when we got home, both jim and I said we certainly didnt get our money's worth and should have just planned a trip in the UK, Scandinavia (norway) or western europe.

On the contary Butch remember this is a public forum and unfortunately in life you get all sorts if you can't handle all sorts then you might as well stay inside (and not emigrate).
If you honestly can not handle the truth/sexually explicit comments/semi-racial comments made in pixels how the hell are you going to last in Canada(a fundamentally racist country - or at least the part of Canada I live)?
If you don't like the above I really don't think you will in particular like most Canadians.
Sometimes it is better to see the worst of a place before you can really judge. DBD33 is amazing at telling us how he really feels about Canada and unfortunately for him he is constantly having people argue with him, but if you look closely the only ones arguing are fresh off the boat or still in England that is an important thing to watch out for.
Steve is one of those posters that you come on this site and look out for...Just type into the search function steve p and you will find a whole hosts of threads when he has gone for even a day.
I am also aware that both these posters are still active but why don't you actually read what they wrote today and read what they wrote 6 months ago. It is a significant difference.
As for FK who can resist a good flirting when you're bored?

If you are still looking to be an immigrant in Canada don't complain about us giving you the opinions we have of Canada (You have no idea yet).

I find Roy Chubby Brown offensive and guess what he has loads of DVDs guess what else? I ignore it thats all I am saying you don't want to listen to him then put him on your ignore list don't complain. Don't try and change him and don't try to get him banned what is the point?

Are you getting the theme here?!? It's all really simple, if Butch (and others) bothered to follow site rules then we would leave them alone.
One other thing to point out is that remember you don't see the worst of what he posts, because we delete it. So you may think he's not really offensive, but you don't know the full story.
The other thing I would like to say is that I've had numerous PM's regarding this thread, all of them saying 'please ban him'. Only 3 people have stuck up for him so far on this thread. So it's far from the majority that are behind him.
As it happens, I've always liked Butch and do think he's a good character on the forum and very witty. There are others that are as rude as him but without the wittiness that I would much rather see banned. It's just that as MMC said, he seems to have changed recently to become really antagonistic and nasty, and is continually breaking the site rules despite knowing full well what they are. He cannot continue like this, and Butch is well aware of this and has been warned. If we could just get the old Butch back then we'd be fine, but he seems hell bent on destruction at the moment.
He can still post his opinions, be witty, be sarcastic, etc, as long as he posts WITHIN SITE RULES.
Hope this has clarified things.

i post how i think, i try not to be rude and walk if i think i am (or try to walk)
I hope we get the old butch back at some point, he was fun...........i hope he remembers he has some good friends not just on here, but off as well, but like someone pointed out, you have to be in the mood for him, but at the moment i am not............
To ask him to be deleted is abit unfair, we all go through personal issues and maybe he is at the moment.............
Maybe hes just venting some anger and fingers crossed we get him back, he is a sweetie really
