doesn't it depend on what kind of pool cover you get? i'm referring to the ones that slide across the pool in two grooves alongside the pool. i thought those were safe, and they keep the pool clean

plus there are also dome type covers that slide across and can be locked

An above ground pool can look great if it has a deck built around it. Also an inground pool raises your taxes.

We had a pool with a inflatable upper ring for 2 years , can not keep them up in the winter , however the raccoons burst it last August , We bought one with steel poles and Vinyl sides for this year, 18 feet x 48 inches , hopefully the Coons will not have so much fun this year .
