No. But the score will be Italy 1-0 England.

And then it'll go downhill.

I have a feeling it will be a bore draw 0-0

It usually is. But this time I'm more optimistic.

I suspect the usual suspects such as limpard, Rooney, Hart and Gerard, throw in a mix of Stirling n Sturage and big Lambert up front and we could get a draw

I hope Lampard and Gerard don't both start. I would like to see Lallana, Sturridge, Sterling all get a decent chance. I see Lambert more being used as a sub for when Rooney is about to get sent off for something stupid.

Agree with this. England to draw against Uruguay and beat Costa Rica and just miss out on goal difference ...

I honestly think that England will lose all of their group games.

But perhaps I'm preparing to be pleasantly surprised.

I'm not going going to speculate.

Endure/Enjoy each game and if we progress from the group I'll be absolutely delighted.

Brazil are favourites although back in 1950 as hosts and favourites they were upset so I think the Argentinians will be there abouts.

I expect the African teams and Australia to be dangerous and the Europeans to struggle in the altitude and humidity.

People keep talking about Belgium doing well. I don't see it yet but some good players. Europe's best hope remains Spain and then the Germans.

Are we doing a results pool? Didn't Greenhill set up a spreadsheet last time????

Lampard, Gerrard, Barkley, Lallana, Wilshere, Sterling. It shows the lack of quality players that came through in the decade in between.

I'm going to speculate: Germany to win.

Ross Barkley? Hodgson would have been better off picking Bishop Barkley sic.

I have just been looking at the bracket and Brazil could have a pretty tough run to the final.

If Liverpool have shown anything, its that if you want to get the best out of Gerrard, its a good idea to play Henderson along side. Sterlings work rate also helps, but not if he gets shoved out wide in a 442

I'd love to see Gerrard, Henderson, Lallana or Barkley, Sterling, Rooney, Sturridge, but I dont think the manger will be that aggressive.

We might not win, but it would be fun to watch.

Goldman Sachs forecast......

Getting out of the group is looking tricky enough for England.
