Here is the river where I take the kids and the theme park Italia in Miniatura.
I didn't realise that the park is shaped like the boot until we got on the overhead ride. It's not a massive park but the little models are brilliantly done. I should put those photos up and see how many bits of Italy we can all recognise.

Nice house TR. I love the old barn/portico bit. It looks like it has a modern extension built onto it or is it just a renovated bit?

I switched to Nikon much as I loved my Olympus camera's of various shapes and sizes over the years! You could get one of those converters for a micro sd, looks like a normal size sd card. They're about £4 on Amazon.....
As for the Florence trip - you could come down on the Orient Express!! Lol!

I've always had Olympus's, but I bought this one because of the large screen Thought I'd be able to take photo's without my specs. I can, just as long as I don't what to see what I'm taking a photo of. Gatwick airport fried my last memory card with all my London photos.:curse: That took all my hand luggage apart last time, bit by bit. I must look suspicious.

This isn't from our window, but it is just round the corner. La Reggia di Venaria Reale.

The river is a lovely place Patty. It's rockier just a bit further up but that little beachy spot is just perfect for the kids and myself. It's relaxing, peacful and free - which means tons cheaper than the swimming pools

If only. Had a peek through the windows when it was in the station. It was amazing.

View from my terrace. The ruins of an 11th century monastery, San Giovanni in Pergulis. It is located near Teramo in Abruzzo.
