Hi all

Jackie, could you update the timeline for us please. We are heading for Brisbane.
To update you on our 457. Our meds are now finalised and 'processing further'. Waiting for eldest daughters meds to be finalised, seem to be taking a while (sure they will contact if a problem). So now we will just continue to play the waiting game with you all and hope for a quick turnaround.

I've been reading the discussion saying that visas are issued 4 weeks before start date of job. OH hasn't got a start date, they agreed won't commit him to a date just in case the visa takes long time, we put 1st April on the visa application for when we wanted it by, so expect them to use this- maybe!!!

Just need to sell the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:curse:

Your work situation sounds similar to mine in that I dont have an official start date either. I guess if I get asked for one I will have to have a think about it.
Like you my job are happy to wait for the visa to come and then go from there.

Congrats on your progress......sounds like your visa will come soon after your daughters meds are finalised if thats all they are waiting for.

Cooeee, I'm here, have been looking at the Porter David website, to try and keep off the Immi website for a few hours they have some lovely house designs and also just finished watching Master Chef, I am addicted, love cooking but not very good, should be Ok in Oz will just throw everything on the BBQ.
