All the best for the 175 App.

But since you mentioned that you have your occupation listed on schedule 3, then your still good to go with 175 or 176 with family sponsorship. All of which, get priority 3 processing.
I have blood relation and have shown 10000 AUD but still .. my occupation is network&security..

Thank you for your application for Victorian Government nomination under the 176 - Sponsored visa scheme.

Following a review of the information you have provided to the Skilled and Business Migration Program, we regret to inform you that the Victorian Government is not in a position to sponsor you under the 176 - Sponsored visa scheme.

The Victorian Government considers whether applicants have sufficient financial resources to establish themselves and their dependents in Victoria while they seek employment. As the funds required differ depending on individual circumstances, the Victorian Government does not specify the minimum amount of funds required. Also considered are any connections with Victoria through family, friends, previous travel, study or employment.

The decision is based on an evaluation of your ability to successfully establish yourself and any dependents in Victoria. We need to ensure that sponsored migrants have the necessary resources, support and commitment to successfully migrate to Victoria and, in this case, it has been decided that your application was unsuccessful in this regard.

Now wat to do?>>

Hello fellow posters !

I had applied to VIC on 4th Dec, 261399 - LINUX and to this day I am getting this :

NOTICE: Due to technical issues tracking the status of a submitted application for visa sponsorship is no longer available. Registered users who have applied online will be contacted via email about the status of their application(s) when necessary. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have emailed them to check if my application went through or not, but no reply.

Well, I know that the blokes at VIC are up to their necks in paperwork by swarming applicants, but aren't 11 days enough for them to acknowledge my application?. I understand that the day they acknowledge the receipt of you application - 12 weeks time start from thereon.

Please advice what to do ? should I keep sending them emails until they reply? Won't that piss them off or something ?.

Thanks!

Cheers,

TAA

You should be patient. In recent past, I emailed ACS and DIAC regarding a query and never got a response even after a reminder and a wait of 2 months now. I am not too much surprised if you are not getting reply of the email from VIC. Maybe their SMTP server is buggy as well just like their tracking and online application systems.

Thanks Oli,

Problem is me thinking have they got my application in their system or not ?. Suppose I sit on my butt for 2 months only to find out that my application got spoofed in the VIC server... That would waste precious time.. And time is my friend, a precious commodity for me...

Now what do you say I should do..?.

One more thing, Iwas trying to get you on MSN, someone was saying WA SMP is NOT in action as yet and there might be more occupations on the final list .. Whats your take on this ?

Cheers,

TAA

Absolutely guys, Patient, patient, and more patient but honestly i am on the edge, take a look at my case, i am not going to resist anymore . I have more than a year in this process and no meaningful advance. But i have left a little of hope.

2009
September: Applied to ACS as Linux Specialist
2010
April : Positive assessment as Linux Specialist
May : Applied for SS to VIC
July : Rejected by VIC (Because of the new changes , I think)
September: Applied as a System Analyst code 261112 and did IELTS. Overall Score 7. Enough score for VIC.
October : Negative assessment from ACS ('cause i do not have 6 fu$%ng yeas of experience)
November 23: Applied as a Software Engineer code 261313
December 1: Noticed that VIC put in his SMP Linux Specialist again.
December 6: Applied again to VIC SS with my ASCO Assessment.
December 15: I have not received yet any acknowledge of the reception of my docs. Still waiting this week. Some say that VIC is not sending anymore a confirmation mail , i have doubts about it.

Regards

George

There is no formal appeal process for VIC as far as I know, you can always mail them with further details but dont keep a lot of hope in doing so

You should try sending them more info through email and see what happens? You will not lose anything by doing so.

When did you applied for Victoria SS?

Thanks

I have already done that 5 times, unfortunately I got only .5 less in one module at two of the attempts. Now I am sick of IELTS and may try reattempting for better score as last resort.
