Hey Anik... nice to hear from u and congrats!!!!!!!!!

Well applying 176 is simple actually...

Go to DIAC website and you have the link to start an online application for 176. U need to provide all the details required for the visa such as skill assessment, IELTS, passport details, partner or dependent details, details of family members etc.... You have to pay the visa charges also when you apply online. You will get a confirmation email once u submit the application with all the details.

Then you get the TRN number which you need to provide to SA client tracking system for them to create form 1100 and send to DIAC.

After getting the TRN number, u can upload all the documents. Get all the originals scanned and upload within 28 days..

So that's it I guess. Try to provide correct answers to all the questions, specially the dates and all that. I got one date wrong and now need to send another form to correct it..

I have applied on May03,2010

Now uploading documents -60% done but facing some confusions:

1. i did a mistake during online application: IELTS section (for both Main & Secondary applicant) i have given "Candidate ID#"as reference instead of "Test Report form Number".
Now should i fill "- form 1023 Notification of Incorrect Answer(s)"??
Will it make any serious problem or delay?

2.during online application: I didnt mentioned my Secondary School and Higher secodary Certificates. Now Should I upload These Certificates?

3.for "Evidence of Specific Work Experience":
a.- Detailed work references: Our company Brand name changes last month and I am mentioning "formerly known as....". so that if they match with Engineers Australia will fine same. do you think it will be enough.

b.- Pay slips covering the period of claimed work experience: I got 4+ yrs exp now last 3 months payslips are ok?

c. Bank statements showing payment of salaries into personal bank accounts: is it same as " Pay slips"?

Hi all,
I also gave the candidate ID number since they have asked for TEST REFERENCE NO. and not TEST REPORT FORM NUMBER.

Can someone pls. clarify whether we need to send the candidate no. or the report sheet no.?

Yes, another 1023.. just check your application thouroughly once more and check how many 1023 you require.....

I have already sent 1 but guess this is the last one... all other information are correct I guess...

Hope the no. of 1023s won't effect my application....

no it wont, making mistakes is human nature.. but better avoid too many.. just check the applicaiton at a go..

Hi all,

In the online application I stated that I have an alternate spelling in my name and provided the alternate spelling as well.

However, now in the document checklist, they have put 'Evidence of change of name' as a required document. As indicated clearly, I have not done any name change.

I am hoping to upload and affidavit saying I am the same person known by the 2 names provided. Should I upload this affidavit under 'Evidence of change of name'?

Pls. let me know if you know anything abt this issue... thanks alot for the support...

You can check signature for latest status , anyway , following is my time line
ACS Assesment 4-03-10 | GSM 175 11-03-10 | ABPF 26-03-10 | Case officer 06-04-10 |PCC ,Form 80, 1221 uploaded , Medical sent 15-04-10| Health requirements finalised 29-04-10|All Document status Met 11-05-10|
