Re: Skills Australia - suggested SOL framework
The new SOL will only apply to applications lodged after it comes into effect, ie people applying now can apply under the existing SOL.

I'll finsih my 2 years course in a month. my nominated ocuppation is pastry cook, it seems that it would be removed from new SOL...
Is it any hope to get 856 visa(ENS catetory), if my empolyer is willing to sponsor me??
I already have postive skill assesment, and work for them over 3 years as part time....

Will Network Security Specialist be classified under any of these?
2611 ICT business and systems analysts
2613 Software and applications programmers
2633 Telecommunications engineering professionals
Just slightly worried.

Re: Skills Australia - suggested SOL framework
Hi Everyone,
has anyone got any news at all on the new SOL List or State Sponsorship Plan? We applied for 175 Roof Slater/Tiler in Sept 2009 but now changed to 176 and desperately waiting for some good news.
Thanks
Little Lisa

Re: Skills Australia - suggested SOL framework
The DIAC said the New SOL will be published on its website 30th April, any thoughts on when it will actually happen? The discussion paper was late by a week I think? and do we expect the famous "mid-2010" to actually translate into a date as the new list comes out?
