Default Q:Skilled + spouse

Hi everybody
I'd like to migrate as a skilled independent ( I have 120 points) together
with my friend as a spouse.

Q1 - Age - I am 34 till June 2006. I'm affraid processing time will be
longer then a year and I don't know will they count my age as 34 or 35
(which means only 20 points instead of 25). Then what if I'll archive only
115?

Q2 - I and my partner are same sex couple. We are in'de facto' relationship
over a year but can I include him as my spouse? I was thinking about
interdependency for him but first I've to be PR so it means we're not going
together.

Thanks for all your help,
Topazer

1. Age is assessed as of time of application.

2. You can't include a same-sex partner on a general skilled application. You can sponsor later on for interdependency, and for that you will need to be a PR and 'usually resident' in Australia. You should get some good professional advice on visa planning for your partner.
