1. Where do I fill in a complaint form?
2. Does filling it in "irritate" the CO and therefore put you at the bottom of the pile?
I agree - I feel like we ARE getting the worst of it........almost 13 months, no CO and not from a high risk country. I feel very despondent and a complaint form is some kind of action on my behalf that may actually make me feel like I am doing something....
Is it advised???
Any thoughts...

Share your concerns with rubbing DIAC up the wrong way but I really felt I needed to take action for my own sanity, and I was inspired to do this by a post from Sharkiebites. I just very carefully worded mine so it's not so much a complaint as a plea for information.
I think perhaps we all put far too much imaginary power in the hands of these mystical COs. I don't really believe anyone gets put to the 'bottom of the pile', we are all just so massively invested in this process financially, emotionally and completely that we hold off taking steps that we would perhaps normally take if we were receiving appalling customer service. And as Sharkie says - if we don't start making some noise this situation will probably never change.
The form is here:

and some other interesting reading is here:

I Have recieved this answer from DIAC regarding my complaint.Dear Mr Singh,
Thank you for your email which has been referred to me for follow-up and
reply.
Please be assured that the Adelaide Skilled Processing Centre is processing
all visa subclasses as quickly as possible and subclass 475s are still
being actively processed.
Unfortunately the ASPC can not put timeframes on the allocation of
applications. We are still allocating cases lodged in June 2007 so it will
be some time before these applications are allocated.
Please keep checking the global processing email for further updates on
allocation dates. The email address is [email protected]; the
processing email is updated weekly.
Your Sincerely,
Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
** Please note that this email address is not used for general enquires.
Any enquires that are received in this mailbox must resent to the correct
departmental email address if further action is required.

I don't know Lidcombe but I know Homebush and some other surrounding suburbs near Lidcombe which really aren't the best....alot of the places out west are a bit dodgy. Do you need to be in or around there for work?

One thing I will say (Australians might disagree but they should try the M25) Sydney has a great public transport system, the train goes ALL over so it's easy to get around. So if you find yourself looking at maps of the city and wondering how far everything is from eachother dig up the Cityrail map too and have a look at that.
Personally, I really like the North Shore: the northern beaches are divine and places inland are generally very nice too - and when I get my visa will be moving all the way up to Avoca Beach, a gorgeous town about an hour and a half drive from central Sydney, where you can still buy three bedrooms with a garden on the beach for less than $500k (approx 230k in pounds)

Try www.realestate.com.au to get a feel for property prices. Have a look at Terrigal and Gosford too if you don't necessarily need to be right in the heart of the city.

Really depends what you are looking for and how close to the city centre you want to be, or how near a beach. Do you have an ideal place in your mind, if you were to picture the perfect area? I'm a singleton so don't know about schools etc I'm afraid

Hi all,
Our status only just changed to "Health Requirements Finalised", nothing more. I have no idea if this is real progress for us or just a formality. Does anybody know what is this means to getting a co assigned soon?
Thanks.

What a horrendously long wait you have had - you must have got caught up with teething problems in the new online system or something. Chin up! Nearly there!!
