Hi All,

I have lodged by application 7/11/2009 and I have received a letter from CO on 27/1/2010 requesting to submit the following documents.

1) Employement Evidence
2) Medical
3) PCC

I have submitted all the above documents, except PCC from Malaysia and recently i received a email form Team 4 saying that my Application will be assessed by CO on April 30th (i need to submit my PCC from Malaysia), i really dont think so i will be able to submit the PCC from Malaysia by April 30th.

Please advice me anybody what should i do?
Pl give evidence that you had applied for Malaysian PCC (Receipt/acknowledgement) etc and inform your CO that it will take few more days.Be specific on the additional time you need!

Hi Tajas;
it is ok to not hear from the CO , they will contact you only if they need u to do something ...
i was asked to provide more employment evidence and i provided Bank Statement that declares my salary being transfered monthly to my bank account .. you can also provide :
-taxation documents
-social insurance documents
-salary payslips

but i guess that applies only if you were requested to do so ... if you can get those easily and would like to send them i guess that would be also ok ..

cheers

Hi all, I've just finished uploading the last of my documents my PCC just a couple of days back (Meds finalised a month back). Does anyone know how long it generally takes before I hear from the CO regarding my visa decision?

After 17 days got reply against PLE that" case officer is constantly reviewing up the progress of your application , you will be contacted if any thing needed"

does that mean i have a case officer? please share your experience

If you have uploaded all the required documents, you might not hear from CO, if not then you need to wait for CO to send you official mail requesting PCC and medicals. Once you get the mail its official you have the CO.

Hey Pollyana,

The visa duration count ( 5 year duration)
from the date of approval or
from the date of visa stamp on passport or
From the date of first entry.

As you know for PR and Citizenship , you must stay 1 year out of first 2 year + 3 year = 4 year.

Please suggest.
