Hi

Can anyone help please???

I applied as an IT Analyst for a 175 back in November 2008. I have seen many new threads recently where applications have been accepted from category 4 from the same time I applied, however, I am still waiting.

Can anyone offer any advice or is anyone in the same boat?

received e-mail today to say we have got our visas, such a quick turn around from submitting medicals less then 2 weeks

fantastic news, what a great Christmas present for you all! hopefully we will get some news soon too. medicals were sent to Sidney on Tuesday so I'm hoping they make it there soon fingers crossed

We are Nov 08 175, we have heard nothing either. Lots of people seem to be getting CO and Visa grants and still we hear nothing
Hang on in there you are not alone (well at least there are two of us!!).

there just seems so much to do now, its a shame we couldnt do it while we where waiting for the visas.
we feel so lucky that we got one in the end and are really looking forward to starting a new life in brisbane.
hi brightons our medicals where sent with DHL they left manchester friday tea time and where signed for on the monday morning in oz.

I'm also still waiting - more and more impatiently as everyone else seems to be getting a CO. I also applied for a 175, non-CSL, non-MODL, category 4.

As far as I understand the information on the DIMA website, we have at least one more year to go. Regarding processing times for category 3 visas they say: "Applications lodged prior to 1 July 2010: finalised by 31 December 2011." For category 4 applications they say: "Assessment of cases will commence once all cases in priority groups 1–3 are finalised." (http://www.immi.gov.au/about/charter.../visas/8.0.htm)

Our medicals are now showing as finalised so hopefully not to much longer

we are heading for brisbane, both got family there and been lucky enough to have been 4 times in the last 5 years. gold coast hopefully.
