Sorry Swati. As per today's update the IMMI guys have removed the timelines.

Earlier it was end of May 09, then they changed to June 09 and now they had just removed the timelines, which make me a bit worry about my application too.

I would say call them and explain your situation. You will get a confirmed answer from them over the phone.

Hi,

The call centre ppl don't do anything. I have called them too many times but they always say that there is priority processing. "We will process it soon" they say but this is something I have been hearing for a long time. They just don't know anything. I prefer the PLE than calling now. Sometimes i feel very dillusioned but yes, I will stick to it. I won't lose hope till i don't hear from them be it positive or negative.

I received a mail from the IMMI office confirming that the nominated occupation is changed to Computing Professionals - NEC.

At least one step further.......

Let's keep track of IT professionals who has not been assigned with a CO yet, even though nominated occupation has been changed. It seems like these applicants were skipped during their normal processing and we will not know when they will come back to the applicants they skipped.

i send PLE today to notify about CSL , i thought they will notice it from the application data , but it seems not.

i read this from the automatic reply:

Once you have identified under which 'Specialisation' your occupationis considered, please notify us as soon as you have uploadedyour Positive ACS Skills Assessment onto your application (or email it to us) so that we can prioritise your application. !!

Why are people not showing any activity on the forums related to immigration.It seems the processing in the dept. has slowed down. Any updates from anyone?

My Nominated Occupation is Computing Professional (not e/where class)
Same was selected in Online Application with MODL

ACS Assessment is 2231-79 Computing Professional (Specializing in Oracle) with MODL

I have applied online on 09-05-2009. Attached all required documents except Meds and PCC. Received system generated reply of application lodgement and list of documents to attach/email (which I already did).

NOW

1. Should I send them email to include my application on CSL or it will be done by DIaC. (As I need to ensure that my application is prioritized as per CSL)

** I know this is not the right thread for following information but still everyone has lodged applications, I would like to know**

Hi,

No need to send your documents again. Whenever a case officer is assigned all the documents you had submitted will change to met or received. So till then it will always show required. You will have to attach ur ACS and send to DIAC by email. Then you will have to send a PLE to advise DIAC that you are on CSL.

I sent my 1023 and ACS letter (as they asked to send) on 13th May bt till now no response.

I sent on below email address and received auto reply as well. First time I sent only 1023 form but they replied back to send again 1023 with ACS letter.
which I sent but not reply after that.
