- Get over jet lag by staying awake all day on the day you arrive.
- Take lots of suncream and never underestimate the sun even if it's completely overcast.
- Relax.
- Buy lots of stubby holders to keep your beer cold.
- Buy a BBQ as soon as it is physically possible to do so

DON'T

- Expect the flight to be any fun at all.
- Underestimate the surf/rips.
- Try to find the UK in Oz (as some people seem to... ).

Above all, smile, be happy, relax, enjoy your new life and make the most of the amazing opportunity we've all been given/worked our asses off for LOL

Cheers Watty'n'Arls, yes the juice has flown pretty well. i have followed all advice from this site and their is 1 piece of advice which i have read many times which i intend to follow with the up most dilligence. "make sure you have a good party before you go" I feel like a teenager again we're booked up every weekend from now until we go, its going to be a very blur January.

Rich no worries - cant wait to get this house sold and get the party started myself. Time just runs away with you. I thought we would be settled in WA by now but alas it was not meant to be. Hope to get house on the market by the end of the month. Sort of looking forward to the leaving party but Im dreading it too.... Know that Oz is where we want to be, but dreading the goodbyes!!
