I finally got CO assigned... I applied under CSL (J2EE specialist 2231-79) under 175. I applied on 8th Jan 2009. Since my wife is now pregnant and expecting the child birth around June last week..We also have long way to go...

Tubbs - I'm positive your CO allocation is just around the corner. for sure you're visa will come through soon. Then we can meet for a cool glass of white wine when we're settled in the lovely Australian spring. Will you be picking up emails while you are away?

Thanks guys. I'm not really worried, I still have a house to sell after all. Hoping that someone will be surprised how clutter free it is while all our stuff is on holiday with us

Cookiestar - I am hoping that I'll be able to check e-mail by pinching some bandwidth from my Gran's neighbours wireless router! She's let me before. That'll see me through to next weekend, but in our "drinking water from the spring, electricity from a hydro turbine" cottage I don't think we're going to get very far. My only worry is that CO asks for something while we're away. I still haven't filled in form 80 either, hopefully I'll get some time after packing tonight. It's just remembering all the short breaks that's a problem.

Well spotted. Boring story. I was a click away from submitting a 175 application in Jan when the CSL changed . Based on that I decided to go with a 176 application (again in Jan) and as I had joined this thread I kept with it..........

Changed occupation to 2231-79 (computer professional NEC.) on 18-May-09
Application status changed to "Application Being Processed Further" on 21-May-09
No communication from the department for my PLE which I raised on 3-June-09 seeking information on CO assignment..
I am in frustrated......

Anyone sailing with me ??

Hi Robin - why did you change from CSL to non-CSL?
Isn't 2231-79 (computer professional NEC) one of the last applications they are going to be looking at?

No Jamesanding. 2231-79 is supposed to be on CSL. I have gotten a mail for the same advising me about change of my application to be on CSL. This wasn't the case prior to my changing the application to 2231-79. If you have marked your application as Analyst program, then its not on CSL.
Any how, no response as yet from DIAC

2231-79 has 14 specializations that are on the MODL (hence CSL) ....
