Hi guys

I've been following this thread for some time now but have never posted anything having only just recently lodged my own application. (I thought about revisiting this site in another 5 months time when the ball really starts rolling). However things in Parramatta seem to be moving for me. Here's my timeline:

10/ May /2010 - Nomination lodged
04/ June /2010 - Nomination approved
04/ June /2010 - Contacted by CO requesting form 80. Quote "to finalise your application as soon as possible"

Job: Business and Information professional (nec)

I'll keep you all posted.

David

VISA GRANTED!!! That took only 3 weeks and 4 days from lodgement at Parramatta and I was expecting to have it just before Christmas! Tempted to call the folks back in the UK but I don't think they'd appreciate being woken up at 5am! Now where's that beverage...

Nah, ETA means Electronic Travel Authority which is equivalent to a visa but no stamp or label is required on your passport. This is normally given to low risks countries.
