Don't forget that date is like a 'worst case scenario' and there are exceptions creeping through
Please oh please let that be us ;).

I see that this timeline has moved about 2 weeks in the last 2 months !!!! At this rate, I will be waiting until 2010 for my visa !!!!!
Feeling very miserable and more than a little frustrated.....

You've got every right to feel how you do, I think everyone is feeling for you both.

Hi there, it is strange that your agent says 12 months and our agent says 6 to 9 months. Are you applying as a bricklayer. I just assume with the name that you could be a bricklayer and apologies if you are not. My hubby has applied as a bricklayer on the 176 visa, so we are MODL skilled and sponsored and thought we would have news by Christmas, we applied in May and front loaded everything. Did you front load all the meds and pcc.

The client DIAC Charters says 12 months - that's the official line, everything else is really a guess - most are done earlier than that, but that's is the official timeline for an offshore PR visa.

Exactly. There is no set in stone timeline for any visa because each one can be affected by so many factors. 5 years ago it was quite common to see UK citizens wait 3 years for a skills visa............

Hi yes hubby is a bricklayer, we applied 6 1/2 months ago and agent sent it paperbased:curse:.

Havnt frontloaded anything as agent is dead against us doing that, and isnt happy that we want to do meds in december!! (9 months after applying!) seems being on the MODL doesnt mean diddly squat with applications.
