Sounds like you're frontloading them, same as us..............which is ok providing you want to go or to validate within 12 months of the medical (or police check).

That's ok then as we really want to be out before the end of Jan (visa permitting and selling of the house) Just attached our National Police Checks -received them Saturday.

Another question -our status page still says that all documents are required & medicals outstanding - even though we've attached everything, is this the same for you and others?

Thanks Rebecca

Usually email, but some people don't even know they've got a CO cause it goes straight to grant. I think the wording on the status page may change, not too sure cause i've not got one yet!

Hi

This is from last weeks update from ASPC:

General Skilled Migration visas: Class VE, VF,VB and Class VC subclass
487
Subclasses: 175, 176, 475, 476, 885, 886, 887, and 487
E-lodged: 10 November 2007
Paper lodged: 19 September 2007

This can vary as I know that some November applicants beyond the 10th of November have had COs but ASPC state you can only contact them to find out if you have a case officer once the date above has moved 2 weeks past your date of application.

When did you apply and can I be nosy and ask why you submitted a paper application as you can see that they are moving much slower than the online apps. Although once they have cleared the August backlog then I guess they will begin to catch up on the paper ones too.

Good luck

Sam

I'm sure your agent knows what they are doing and as I said I think that once they have processed most of the August applicants (and good luck to them) they will be able to properly work on the paper ones from September onwards.

So chin up, try and keep busy with other things, this emigration business takes over your life which is not very healthy, I know, been there, doing that!
