A 457 is what it says on the tin. A temporary visa and has no automatic path to anything else. It assumes you would return at the end of the visa.


Some do go on and gain PR - I did - but many do not. To do so aged over 50, you would need to be earning over $132k per year.


For any visa, it will be hard to bring your daughter
