I want to ask u one question from all of u guys. The reply of PLE from DIAC after CO assigned is an automated reply or it is the reply from the CO himself..

May be both, from CO or Automatic. Usually PLE receipt is automatic while manual response is later after few days by or on behalf of the department.

CO reassigned means he previously got CO in Oct 09 but due to Wife pregnancy they requested to delay there medicals ..... there CO was changed after july changes and new priority processing.

may be they had moved on with their internal checks in the meanwhile...

otherwise its super fast processing for a pakistani to get grant inside a month time after CO [re]allocation!!!

Not necessarily. Sometimes a CO is simply re-allocated because the original one has left the job or gone on leave, in which case all the new one has to do is pick up the file, check all the boxes have been ticked, and proceed with the process of actually granting the visa.

thanks Pollyana for the info
Probably ASIO checks are not effected by CO swap or intentional delay in medical etc...!

Re: August 2009 Applicant

Why DIAC is particularly focusing on Computing Professionals.I 've seen a lot of visas for Network Security even from Pakistan.

I think now,Visa Grants are strongly related to one's profession.DIAC sorts them out w.r.t ASCO codes.

Where are the Engineering Professionals gone?
