yar just look at this forum, there are a lot more computing professionals than engineers so that is why they are getting more grants

May be U 're ryt.....

as per Beupdate.co the reality is as above also..

Computing is preferred.

Or may be Comp.professionals are in much more abundance than Engineers applications.

But there has been a ban on Electronics engineers quite some months ago as per some thread here on BExpat.

So that I started to contemplate a similar situation happening once agian
Cheers

It's not funny buddy.

A ban might be possible (for a short months time)especially if it has a precedence.

Cheers

I just read a post here on this very forum stating "there had been a ban on Electronics Engineers for quite some months ago and there is a big thread about that"

I don't know about that thread either as I joined it in May this year.

So I started this "Banning" discussion just to confirm.I didn't claim it as a confirmed news.
sorry if someone has misunderstand my poor English.:frown::frown:

No its OK, nothing wrong with the English! There is no "ban"on engineers though and hasn't been - maybe there has been a delay in processing or something but if DIAC decides they don't want to accept a trade any longer they will issue a new skills list, they won't just stop processing them :)

problem isn't that you are engineer, problem is that you are a Pakistani
hence you have to go through this ordeal of excessive delay while everyone and their grandma gets the visa :thumbdown:

if there was a problem with processing of ee engineers than you would have seen numerous people from different countries complaining about it
